Hello dear readers,
From the 2nd until 23rd of September 2019, I started leading an international volonteer work group. What we do is called "workcamp".
There are lots of workcamps all over the world. People gather volonteerly to work for a common and social goal.
This time, our place of stay is in Kalkar, north-west Germany and our work is to make our guest have an unforgettable holiday.
Our guests are people with several disabilities in different levels and we are staying all together in an old mill, formed into an accomondation.

私は2019年9月2日から23日までの、国際ワークキャンプボランティアのリーダーを始めました。私たちがやっていることは「ワークキャンプ」と呼ばれており、世界にはたくさんの種類のワークキャンプが存在します。人々は共通の目的、福祉の仕事のためにボランティアで集まるのです。
今回の私たちの宿泊先はドイツの北西に位置するカルカー、そして私たちの仕事はゲストたちに忘れられない休暇を提供することです。
ゲストたちは異なるレベルの様々な障害を持っている人々で、私たちは宿泊施設に改装されたで古い風車小屋で共同生活を送ります。


Since the young volonteers from all over the world also don´t know each other, we are doing games and experience living together.

世界中から集まった若いボランティアたちもまたお互いのことをよく知らないので、私たちはゲームをして、一緒に生活することを経験していきます。
これは私たちが互いに書き合った自画像です。とても楽しかった！

We also have to cook for ourselves and also for the guests. We are 9 workcampers, 10 guests and 2 coordinators who are in charge of caring them. At this workcamp, we are people from Turkey, Russia, Mexico, Japan and Germany, so we enjoy international food everyday.
私たちは自分たちで食事を作らなければならず、ゲストにもまた用意します。9人のボランティア、10人のゲスト、そして彼らのケアの為の2人のコーディネーターがメンバーです。このキャンプでは、トルコ、ロシア、メキシコ、日本、そしてドイツから来たボランティアがいるので、私たちは国際的な料理を毎日楽しんでいます。


We also work together to have a nice stay and cultural experience. Here, we are transfering wood beneath a tennis table plate to keep the wood dry for camp fires and BBQ.
より良い生活、そして文化的な経験をするためにもまた、私たちはともに活動します。これは、私たちが卓球台の下に木を運んでいる写真です。こうするのはキャンプファイヤー、そしてバーベキューのために気を乾燥させるためです。


Different culture means different music. We have fun getting to know international songs.
異文化は、異なった音楽をも意味します。国際的な音楽を知るようになれて楽しいです。


We also go on trips together with our guests. Here, we went on a boat trip in Xanten. Everyone enjoyed it.
私たちはゲストとともに旅行にも出かけます。これは、サンテンでボートトリップをした時の写真です。みんなが楽しんでいました。




On one day, we went further to the city "Nijmegen" in the Netherlands. It was beautiful.
ある日、私たちはオランダのネイメーガンという街に行きました。とても美しい街でした。






After one week, our guests´ holiday end and we had two days for travelling on our very workcampers own.
We departured early in the morning to visit Amsterdam.
一週間後、ゲストたちの休暇は終わり、私たちは二日間ボランティアたちだけでの旅行に行きました。


The Netherlands are the country of bicycling. I felt there were more bikes than cars.
オランダは自転車の国です。そこでは車の数より多くの自転車があるように感じました。


The houses and buildings were just beautiful.
家や建物はただただ美しかったです。




Amsterdam is full of canals and you can also enjoy riding a boat to see the city. It is so much worth a visit.
アムステルダムは運河で満ちており、人々はボートに乗って街を楽しむこともできます。一度は訪れる価値がある街です。
